What You Think Science Dangerous?

Is science dangerous?

Many atheists have lost their faith by rigorous study of certain scientific fields. Be it biology, geology, astromony or archeology... They have all proved previous religious claims on the Truth wrong.

One of the methods of science is to try and falsify any given theory. Another is to question any given truth. This goes very much against the concept of faith.

So...
Is the study and methodology of science dangerous to faith?

What science is

What Science Is

alot of my athiests friends bank on science to proove that there is no God, and this univers is existing ever since. but my question is, do you realy think science is an authentic evidence to bank on ?
i mean no matter how advance you may be you can never proov that the earth existed ever since.

also by the time science refuted its own assuptions. it establihshed and refuted A-biogenesis, geocentric theories. it established and refuted the concepts about sun. moon glaxy, and has not been able to solve many mysteries. iin actual Scientists believe that every 10 years half of biology gets out-dated.

moreover, science always banks on assuption.

big-bang, string theory, A-biogenesis, evolution, gravity, charge are all assuptions. all scientific laws bank on assuptions.

e.g all gravitational laws bank on gravity, but no one can give the reason of gravity. all electro-static and electro-dynamic Laws bank on charge, while no one can give the defination of charge. there are more objections than theories about the beginning of Life.

do you realy think, you believe in facts ????
where is the ultimate truth ???

i think Newton has given the best definition of a scientist, hence science

I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me

Arts and Science

Arts v/s Science!!!!
chal ankur , vishnu, nipun, rajesh sb mere ko thanxx karo to start this topic....
for those who r unaware there is now a very interesting bollywood type twist to the long , lengthy, lenthier...... yawn "women v/s men" and tat has generated this new topic... as tat topic has already crossed its expiration date and too bore to accumulate ne new side line to it.... this can be nice platform to discuss the issue.....though i m posting a topic nearly after more than 2 moths but plz do contribute as u always used to do for my topics...

Arts:: Studies intended to provide general knowledge and intellectual skills (rather than occupational or professional skills)

Science::Ability to produce solutions in some problem domain

these r the dictionary definition.... people says both r important.... agreed nothing is just waste in this world....
but the debate here is which is self sufficient in itself???
which does not need the support of other???
which has greater hold on economic factor and has more money driving force???
which has more contribution in its credit to the society???

i wud better like the debate to commence on practical grounds rather than ideal circumstances and just crying and blaming society and all for everything... and plz dont put emotional crap to justify ur arguments....

Thank you
