Knowledge Sharing : Team Work - Your views
Hi Friends, I scribbled some points on effetive team work through burning midnite oil yesterday. Kindly devote your valued time

The Seven essential of an effective team work are

1. Adjustment

We must learn to adjust ourselves amongst different individuals for every person is unique and everyone has different potential and weakness too. In a chain, all the links are not equally strong, there aught to be one or two links which needed support to perform. So, here we have to analyse these weak links under Theory of Constrains. Instead of harping on the weakness of the particular individual, we must bank upon their strong
points and carry on.

2. Complement/Cooperation

Often we all misconstrue Cooperation to Competition. Cooperation is a form of complementing each other and not competition. We must leave this sense of competition in a team and concentrate on complementing each for optimum result.

3. Communication

In a team work communication such a vital component. The team leader must be clear in his communication to the team members as to what he/she expects from his team and which member is assigned which task according to his potential and strength. He/she must be a good listner too and should not be averse to receiving suggestion even from the weakest link of the chain. He/she must be ready with his/her explanation or description of any query rasied or doubt by the team members.

Here I would like to emphasise that channel of communication, howsoever critical or harsh it is, must not stop. Because once the channel of communication is broken, confusion will creep in and once the confusion surfaces, a total mess up will take place bringing the whole assignment into jeopardy.

4. Competence

The competence calls for evaluation of total assignment and draw means to finish it with utmost perfection. We all know that “100% perfection is just a fantasy. It cannot ever be achieved. Like Sky cannot be reached. Yet we all strive for perfection and that is the beautify of perfection that it cannot be ever achieved 100% and this is the only reason that improvement is a constant process in a bid to achieve 100% perfection. Improvement brings change and change calls for improvement. So, competence is to think at macro level to change with perfection.

5. Commitment

Commitment for the task to accomplish is another vital. Commitment to attain the set goal is imperative in all senses and must be inculcated down to ever member no matter how important his/her contribution would be in the total assignment. Once a member is known about his/role in the team in clear terms, it will bring a sense of belongingness and ultimately bring in motivation with a sense in him/her that he/she is also in the team.

6. Trustworthiness

Trustworthiness is essentially a kind of respect and faith on one’s ability and competence in as much as his/her integrity. Here the team leader has to come forward and show his/her confidence on all the team members and he/she needs to demonstrate that he/she is also with them always to guide them, support them and take them out of the trouble, if ever they are in, in their personal and professionals endeavours, The team members must trust each other that every member is putting their best of efforts and there should not be any kind of casting aspersions or backstabbing or backbiting in the team.  Jan 18 Anonymous
7. Discipline

Discipline in every aspect of life to make any assignment in life. Discipline does what we do not wish to do and discipline forces us to we are supposed to do. So, every member of the team must have a sense of discipline in their back of mind in terms of completing his/her task and also to ensure that all the above elements of an effective team work are complied in the right spirit and friendly manner. There might be occasions during the course of performing task, and in the labyrinth of so many constraints while accomplishing the task, but with the sense of discipline and patience, things will move ahead without much human hinderance barring unforeseen circumstances.

In conclusion, my note with a sense of gratitude to all of you for having gone through this effort of mine patiently. Don’t know how much its going to be of help to you, but I would eagerly awaiting your views on it.

This article I wrote in order to present a paper in our Knowledge Community. Before that I would be grateful if you kindly let me know if any further points, that you might think appropriate can be inserted to you. Certainly a successful presentation of the paper, is not possible with your valued advice and kind support.

Love u all !!

The UK Pharmaceutical Market

The UK pharmaceutical market.
The UK pharmaceutical market overview.

Towse A.Office of Health Economics, Whitehall, London, England.

The National Health Service (NHS) accounts for more than 98% of the UK prescription medicines market, which is the sixth largest pharmaceutical market in the world. Most of this market is driven by the UK's approximately 35,000 general practitioners (GPs). It is an open market, with most leading foreign pharmaceutical companies having a strong presence. While the growth rate of this market has been decelerating, it remains one of the fastest growing components of NHS expenditure. The NHS does not operate any kind of national reimbursement list, but the UK government has adopted several means to keep medicines expenditure under control. These include cash incentives and constraints for GPs relating to expenditure on medicines, individual quarterly updates on GP prescribing, the publication of a list of medicines that cannot be prescribed by GPs, the switching of some prescription-only medicines to over-the-counter medicines, and a co-payment system. The main form of economic regulation in the UK, however, remains the Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme (PPRS). This limits the rate-of-return on capital attributable to medicines sales to the NHS, with the intended rate-of-return being equal to that of UK industry overall. The pharmaceutical industry has generally performed relatively well in the UK market, managing to preserve incentives to innovation. This reflects the fact that UK GPs have been able to maintain their clinical freedom, as well as government recognition of the economic contribution made by the pharmaceutical industry. Current issues of interest in the UK pharmaceutical market context include the future of the PPRS, the debates over the imposition of a national formulary and generic substitution, and over parallel trade, the potential impact of managed-care protocols and computer-based prescribing on pharmaceutical expenditures, and possible political changes.

Resume Making For MNC Company

Resume Making Tips - Resume - Sample Resume - Resume Example

Competition for the best jobs, particularly in a slowing economy, is intense. Hiring managers will often receive hundreds of resumes for a single open position. A superior resume is the key that unlocks the door to your next opportunity.

so here it is few tips for prepairing a good resume.

It is a good idea to create two versions of your resume: the print version, and the electronic version. The print version will serve as your primary resume, and because of this appearance is critical. Conservative paper color as well as a conservative overall style is recommended. Avoid using too much bold or italic typeface.

The electronic version should have no formatting whatsoever. The electronic resume is needed to work readily with electronic resume readers and automated applicant tracking systems, and formatting is a hindrance.

Some other tips on format:
>> Avoid long paragraphs; used bullets to highlight salient points
>> Avoid clutter. White space throughout the document will make it easier to read
>> Use high-quality paper, as well as a quality printer
