Ethical and Moral Values in Life

What is the need of practicing ethical and moral values in our life?
If a person want to live his life as a single moment or instant, it is probably all right to need not to worry about ethics.but if he have certain long term goals and plans for his life he is definatelly expected to take care of issues related to ethical values.Aperiod of sixty or seventy years can not be passed in distinct and different instances. life span is really a big period and as a conscious being man is not supposed to live his life moment per moment or instant per instant.
Long term goals and planns need proper planning for future events. Proper planning needs experience of elderlly people. People, who had examined activities of their own and other lives judaciouslly and while being unbiased for anybody in genral. this experiece results as a code of conduct to be followed by yougsters for living a happy and purposefull life while ensuring good of their own and for their own people.
Ethical values are just for ensuring "Greatest Good for the Greatest Number of the People while causing no Negative Counter Effect of Exercising Freewill."
