What is the definition of technology

A very modern definition of development and developed countries/societies has presented by anthropologists as a satisfied society. As long as people are happy and enjoy their lives they are developed, if they are not happy they are not developed. A group of people living in the heart of some jungle who may not even wear cloths or live in mud brick houses are developed if they generally they are happy with the life style they have. People who may drive fancy cars and use fancy cellphones or lap tops are not developed if their quality of life is low and on average do not have a sense of satisfaction with their lives (as a group).

and about technology. Technology is not just computers and cars. A qanat is a technology (connected chain wells in the plains).
