Music festivals in india
lets see how many rock and roll music festivals we can come up with:
here's some i can think of----

1. Independence Rock-- the great festival at bombay since 1970s.. now run into trouble with mum municipality. goodbye to rangbhawan and gateway... its allthe way in andheri now... still a great gig. features the upcoming and known college bands, independent rock bands of the country

2. Strawberry Fields. the National Law School, BLR annual event. ive been there twice thus far. its a sell out man

3. OCtoberfest- this newly introduced concept in india to celebrate the great octoberfest of the nazi era. well its basically a beerfest with great music. brought to blr by none other than Vijay Mallya

there are other fesativals held in calcutta (the rock bed of the country), the chennai round (some exceptional drummers and guitarist belong to this place)...
the IITs have had a tradition with the rock
